I've been going to New Millennium for over 8 years. They're honest and stand by their work. Recently, I knew I needed some work done on my car. Xavier, the lead mechanic, brought me to my car to show me that less than half of the work I thought was needed. I came out of there feeling as though I had saved money instead of spending it. New Millennium was recommended to me when I first got a car in the city. And now, I recommend them to my friends. We're all super happy with their service. They're also just really nice.

A few positive things really stood out to me: they were the most familiar with certain ongoing issues of my car than any other mechanics I've had in the past, and they provided in-depth estimates explaining all the work they would need to do which included they test your car a few times while fixing the issue to make sure they got it right. The first reason I chose to come here was that they could get my car completed before the weekend when other shops said I'd need to pick it up in the middle of the following week. I also like that you can pick your car up after hours when they're cleaning up the shop and that they have Saturday hours. I wouldn't be surprised if they could fix your car up same-day, but my feeling is they will take the time if needed to a job right which is why mine took a few days, especially because I wanted to pick up some parts that I had under my own warranty. It was cool that the mechanic was able to text me periodically on how the job was going too. They might not be dirt cheap but I think their labor rate is affordable compared to others in the area ($115/hour) and that's to even out the cost of them working with quality parts. They even resolved some issues that I compained about in previous years that other mechanics shrugged off. My car drives a lot better now and that's worth the price and time and the future relationship that I hope to establish with this shop. I'm a new customer too so I got a $50 off coupon!! Everyone there was really nice and repectful too so I'm happy to say this is my mechanic shop of choice :)
